ABOUT

About Diamond Girls

The Diamond Girls' program is a specially designed girls baseball program for Secondary School aged girls. The program is aimed at any girls, no matter their history or experience in sport.

The program is really aimed at having fun, and providing an opportunity for girls to come together from various schools/backgrounds/areas and enjoy a casual environment where they can play a bit of sport, create some great social networks, and develop themselves as people along the way. We have an all female coaching staff, including current and former Australian level players, one of which has played professionally in Japan and is preparing to play in the upcoming Australian Professional women's baseball league.

The sessions are going to be a modified version of baseball, 45 minutes to one hour, with suitable equipment, music and it is participation-focused so everyone can have a go!

We are hoping to spread the word about our program, as one of the biggest issues for us is that not many people actually know baseball exists. And, when they do find out about baseball, they simply think it is for boys. We want to change that.
